I was born in Florida, spent the first eight years of my life in Chattanooga TN then moved to Rockford. I graduated from Harlem High School then went to Rock Valley College to study dental assisting and I have been employed in the dental field since 1986. I met the love of my life (Tom) in 1989 and we married in 1999. Tom and I have a mobile dj service that he established in 1985 so we have become a team and stay very busy with weddings etc. Which brings me to how I got into radio....being in the dj business we had the pleasure of meeting and working with Chip Messiner who introduced us to Lynn Lacy who asked us to provide the music for her wedding reception. Through many conversations leading to her big event, Lynn discovered my love for and my knowledge of country music (especially "The Legends"). So here I am and I love every minute of it!! First Concert: Cal Smith was at Lake Winnipesoka in Chattanooga TN. I was 5 years old I got to meet him and have my picture taken with him!
