"BESTSY"
  

Besty is a mature 8yr old, spayed basset hound.  She came into our facility as a stray on 2/13/10 and seems to have an overall mellow disposition.  Betsy would do better in a mature household, she also seems like she is housebroken and comes when called.  Betsy also qualifies for our Senior for Senior program which is; if the adopter is 62yrs or older the adoption fee is reduced to $50.

WHITE CASTLE HAMBURGER STUFFING

10 WHITE CASTLE BURGERS (NO CHEESE OR PICKLES)
      TORN INTO TINY BITS (BUNS, MEAT AND ALL)
1 ½ CUPS DICED CELERY
1 ¼ TEASPOONS GROUND THYME
1 ½ TEASPOONS GROUND SAGE
¾ TEASPOON COURSE GROUND BLACK PEPPER
¼ CUP CHICKEN BROTH

IN LARGE MIXING BOWL, ADD BURGERS, CELERY & SEASONINGS.  TOSS AND THEN ADD BROTH.  TOSS WELL.  STUFF MIXTURE INTO YOUR TURKEY JUST BEFORE ROASTING.  MAKES ABOUT 9 CUPS.

NOTE:  ALLOW 1 BURGER FOR EACH POUND OF TURKEY

THE ABOVE RECIPE IS FOR STUFFING IN THE BIRD…ADD ¼ TO ½ CUP MORE CHICKEN BROTH IF YOU MAKE THE RECIPE OUTSIDE OF THE BIRD

COOK INSIDE THE BIRD OR BAKE FOR 1½  HOURS AT 300° - 325° IN A DISH
