    LOLA

Lola came to WCAS with an injured right eye and she was blind in that eye. The Volunteer Auxiliary Patch Fund paid for her surgery to have the eye removed, which is supported by proceeds from the Canine Classic Dog Fair coming September 19 at Sportscore One . Lola was fostered by a volunteer until her eye healed and she could be spayed. Now Lola is ready for her furever home. She will make someone a great lap dog. Her beautiful long coat will need to brushed regularly to keep it mat free. Lola lived with a yellow lab in her foster home. If you have a dog we recommend a dog intro as Lola is picky about her canine friends. Because she can't see out of her left eye, we recommend a home with older children. Lola loves to go for walks and her foster mom walked her daily. As you can see by her photo, she appreciates nature but needs to be an indoor dog. Her foster mom says Lola is "affectionate, independent, bossy, walks well on a leash.  Needs a daily walk.  Likes to sit in laps and be petted.  Good with other animals.  Likes kids but tires out quickly.  Potty trained and likes to eat apples. Food...1/3 c. of canned food 2X daily."
