I grew up in Berkley, IL (near Hillside)…then moved to Schaumburg, IL where I graduated from Schaumburg High School in the early 1980’s…attended and graduated from Northern Illinois University in the mid 1980’s. I got my first commercial job in Radio in the 1980’s playing Country Music (using 45 RPM Records…anybody remember those) at a little AM Station in Sycamore, IL. Then I went on to work for a TOP 40 music and News Talk station in DeKalb, IL. I spent ten years there and then discovered Q98.5 Radio in Rockford. After tuning in for two minutes...I knew this was the place I needed to be at! The rest is History

Favorite artists: Gary Allan - Tim McGraw - Sara Evans - Phil Vassar- Boston -ELO (from the 1970’s) Milli Vanilli ( I can Lip-sync, too!) - Sanjaya (from American Idol 2007) and EVERY POLKA ever made (ummppaa).
First Concert: Johnny Cash at Arlington Park Racetrack back in the mid-1970’s with my parents.
Favorite concert: Reba McEntire & Brooks & Dunn - MetroCentre - 2002?
